About Bush and Forest Foundation

Bush and Forest Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on charity, community support, education, environmental protection, and animal care in Tanzania, operating under Bush and Forest Explorers Ltd and Bush and Forest Camps to connect tourism with community development and conservation. Its main project, Travel For Charity Tanzania, started in 2020 and involves visiting villages, orphanages, and local communities to provide food, essential supplies, educational materials, and care for children and vulnerable groups. In 2022, the foundation launched the Children Education Program, also known as Charity Academy, which has so far provided educational opportunities, including school fees and learning materials, to over 300 children from vulnerable backgrounds. The foundation also runs an Environmental Farming Project that promotes sustainable, natural farming methods to protect the environment while producing food, as well as an Animal Care Program that focuses on the care and treatment of livestock and domestic animals through both in-house care and community outreach to families whose animals need support. Together with Bush and Forest Explorers Ltd, which provides safari and adventure travel services, and Bush and Forest Camps, which offers accommodation, Bush and Forest Foundation works to ensure that tourism supports conservation, education, and community well-being.
